Definitely.
There's a fitness tracker industry and an Apple Watch industry. They are presently running in parallel and looking enviously at each other.
Apple is looking at the large number of fitness trackers sold, and the fitness tracker folks (fitbit, garmin) are looking at the sweet Apple margin & price point.
