Sen.se acknowledges the Peanut battery drain problem

by Volker Weber

You are having trouble with your ThermoPeanuts and we are truly sorry about that. We have found a bug in the ThermoPeanut software that drains the battery way too fast. We would like to apology for this problem. We understand that this may have been a disappointment for you, but we want to let you know that we are actively working to correct the problem. This is a software issue, which means it can be corrected by a simple update. There will be three updates: one for the iOS App, one for the Android App, and one for ThermoPeanut firmware. We will publish them before the end of the week.

When I get the update, I will try again. I really liked the ThermoPeanut, and I only stopped using it after it burned through a CR2012 within two weeks. If you also have this problem, I suggest you write to support. They offer a free Peanut:

In compensation for theses problems, we would like to offer you a free Peanut of your choice (Thermo or Guard). Simply indicate to us your choice and we will be happy to send you a coupon to get it

That is very nice of them. But I do think the software update is the bigger deal.
