Fluent Design

Steve Jobs once said, that Microsoft has no taste. That may have been true, but it no longer is. They are building powerful new products that are both elegant and beautiful.

This is why my next tech buy will be a Surface Pro 4.

My wife's SP4 is the best tech device I've used in years. Simple, elegant and a joy to use.

Everything I need all in one beautiful device.

Of course, your mileage may vary...

Bought a SP4 a few weeks ago and I have to say it is still Windows. Just this morning from one second to the next it didn't turn back on anymore after I turned off the screen.

But still I haven't used my iPad Pro 12" since I got the SP4.

Not a fan of the fan though. Ha. ;)

Microsoft are definitely doing things right since Satya took over. At least more things better as far as my taste is concerned.

The fluent design looks like an extension (or "embrace and expand") of Googles' material design. The "material" of material design is expanded by depth (also big focus in material design), light and motion.

Also looks like they brought in talent from Microsoft Studios or Xbox division. It has a bit of a "gamey" look. And I like that.

I like my SP4 for the form factor and power. Would love it if it was not for the fan and the *#%$ docking station.
