Huawei Mate 10 Pro :: An awesome walkthrough

by Volker Weber

I have used the Mate 10 Pro for few weeks and still learned quite a few features from this awesome walkthrough. This is quite a remarkable phone as you will see.

Hi Vowe,

You seem to like this phone a lot. I'm an iPhone user and due to my iPhone's proximity sensor being damaged I'm using a borrowed Samsung Galaxy S6 while it's being repaired.

As much as I want to like Android phones, the feeling of the touch screen never seems on par with the iPhone. I don't know how to explain it, but it seems there is a lag between the time you press something on screen and the time that something actually happens! And the scroll motion is different, kind of unnatural!

This alone is something that would made me very hesitant to switch to an Android Phone. As the Galaxy S6 is an older phone, could you please tell me if you notice the same thing on these newer phones?

Regards,
Pedro

Pedro, Android phones feel different but you adjust. I also prefer the way iPhones scroll (and bounce), but Android phones have gotten better since the S6. This particular Huawei is screaming fast, from a fingerprint reader that clearly outruns Apple, to fewer and faster animations, this feels extemely snappy.

However, since I am using so many different Android phones, I always have difficulties adjusting to all the idiosyncracies of the particular Android shells they use. There isn't one Android, there are many many. Even an S8 is completely different from an S6.
