My mind goes to the possibilities of not simply sanitizing text, but potentially redirecting blame. While each one could be different, there's a reasonable chance that you could detect a fingerprint identifying a particular source and reproduce it. Nasty, but a reminder that where there's a reproducible way to detect a source, there's a way for bad actors to cause chaos in a "trusted" way.
