The data analytics firm that worked with Donald Trump’s election team and the winning Brexit campaign harvested millions of Facebook profiles of US voters, in one of the tech giant’s biggest ever data breaches, and used them to build a powerful software program to predict and influence choices at the ballot box.
This is painted by some media as a Facebook leak. But it is not. This is just the core of what Facebook is. When will you walk away?

It is also a poster child example what keeps CIO's awake when implementing GDPR compliance: "Unauthorized use of data obtained by authorized access". Mapping user's consent to accessor's intent (which is all in the head).
