Heart rate warning on existing Apple Watch

Apple added the Low Heart Rate alert to my Series 3 watch with watchOS 5. The High Heart Rate alert was there before. If you see that on your watch, you should also see the low heart rate warning. These are adjustable to your specific condition.

"Heart rate is actually a very good barometer of overall fitness and cardiovascular health. As we become less fit, our heart rates tend to go up, both at rest and with exertion," says study author Scott D. Solomon, M.D., professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.

In adults normal resting heart rates are between 60 and 100. The lower, the better. Athletes can go as low as 40 to 50. If you are Usain Bolt, it is below 40. I have no idea how high my resting heart rate was when I was less active. Right now it is at 62 on most days, today it was 59:

Gibt's auch neue Watchfaces in watchOS 5 für ältere Modelle?

Ceci n'est pas un blog

I explain difficult concepts in simple ways. For free, and for money. Clue procurement and bullshit detection.
