Windows isn't working – and Microsoft urgently needs to change how it develops the platform, and jettison three filthy practices it has acquired in recent years.

Terry Myerson, the manager who got us here, has since left the company. The person responsible for fixing Windows is Joe Belfiore. You may know him from being responsible for Windows Phone. And he just delivered the October 2018 update which deleted files from users' home directory.
