Notes, Domino, Connections, Portal, and a whole lot more go to HCL. Completely. IBM is out. https://t.co/BUVjQJg40q

Now HCL has to show that they are not CA (where software goes to die).
First signs look positive, but it's a marathon, not a sprint.
Fetching popcorn
are they getting lotus.com ?
Dan, sort of. The band is back together at HCL.
I had hope that IBM would keep the Connections nonsense. We'll see what HCL brings to the table.Big move for HCL.
I expect HCL to seriously re-engineer Connections. Activities, Blogs, Wikis? Who needs that? DB2, WAS?
Notes has a lot of baggage after 22 years with IBM. De-clutter of the clusterf*ckery is overdue
I think it is a very good move by HCL. They showed the passion for the ICS products. HCL will increase the release cycle, they don't have to wait anymore for IBM.
But..... I foresee also some big decisions regarding the ICS portfolio. HCL will keep the products which they believe it has a future, And don't expect it they will keep the Notes Client. It is something from the past and HCL already has more modern way with HCL Places. Runs also NSF's so why keep the Notes Client.
