Yes, deep down in the basement I still have a 2000 and a Keyboard and at the office I have a 130 And once in a while when I'm really really sentimental I put some AA batteries in it and start it up...and enjoy what we already had 25 years ago.

Finally Apple lost me when they stopped producing this machine...I never got over it...

Ah, Klasse!
Krasse Zeiten :-D

OT: Ganz schöne Weihnachten an alle und beste Wünsche.

I was just thinking about this the other day, I always wanted one. My weapon of choice was the Palm Pilot. Similar to Sven every now and again I charge it up and play around with it. Such a shame they lost their way.

Well,
yesterday I saw one of these Steve Jobs biopics where he smiled to John Sculley about that device and killing that product line.

Before these apple devices there had been an earlier entry mini PC class, an Atari Portfolio in the dawn of the 1990s. And that had a 25 x 80 characters screen, keyboard and extension- and expansionport for Parallalelport, 256 or 512 KB storage extension modules and so on. Most important lotus 123 or wks compatible file format and exchange possibilities. Great for bar accounting in an event location for 2.000 or 3.000 guests.

From there I went to an amstrad handheld for a short period of time and then to a US Robotics Pilot ... Palm III, IV ... tungsten, Sony Clie (such a well crafted device then), Handspring vizor, Treo and a lot other before I arrived in the android world of the Samsung Note Series - which I still use as backup device and for all touch input.

Long long way gone and sleepless nights in the time before Android with duplicated notes contatcs, calendar entries, notes or broken Palm system and not really working restore or backup. We're getting older
