I was right on the money with the Nokia 7 Plus

I can confirm rhat I have seen a lot of folks moving away from Apple this year because of damaged phones. No matter if the displays are broken or slowed down by old batteries.

The current strategy which is to produce non-durable phones with high repair costs and very expensive phones does play out for the stake-holders. But does not increase customer satisfaction.

Maybe that is too obvious, but with repect to the expected fiscal results I am wondering if this marks the beginning of Apple’s decline in the smartphone business. They will not disappear but I see a future where Apple phones are still expensive but just another luxury brand.

iPhone sales peaked in 2015. So I don't think there's a new decline, just no more growth to be expected.

I really like what "the new" Nokia is doing so far although their naming scheme can be a tad confusing (e. g. X7 aka 7.1 Plus). Are there any plans to review the 8.1 or the 9 PureView?

We have already two Nokia 7 Plus in our household, both on Android Pie. Great value for money, everyone happy. Best budget alternative to iPhones and Pixels in my opinion, many thanks for your repeated recommendation, Volker.

@Johannes: You should ask the expert, i.e. Volker this question. The camera of my iPhone X is outstanding and the Nokia certainly cannot compare to that. But that's hardly a surprise given that it cost only 1/3 of the iPhone.

Disclaimer: Don’t try this at home.

Measurebator ausgenommen.

So ist's, hihi ... :)
