Microsoft bought Semantic Machines and they hope to build an assistant which ties into Microsoft Graph to enable this level of sophistication. I believe it when I see it on my computer.

Oh well, after seeing different 'assistants' falling onto their face daily in rather spectacular fashion in relatively easy usecases, I will believe that, when seeing. Not earlier.
This might be a solution in search of a problem, at least until it REALLY works flawlessly. I think we agree it makes for little more than a clever demo for now.
And how fortunate she is that the whole place is entirely empty until she’s done with the conversation with her assistant and then all the sudden other people come in. It would for sure feel akward to talk to your phone like that in front of other people.
But then again, in the beginning the phablet screen size also felt a bit awkward and the Airpods were frowned upon as awkward looking...
