Danke, Markus. Eine wunderbare Bastelei!

Looks like just what I need! I dont see any mention of homekit on the Shelly website, how are you interfacing this? homebridge or ravencore?

Homebridge. Works a treat.

You will be connecting the old switch into the SW1 and SW2 ports. The Up and Down wires go into 01 (for up) and 02. You need power L/N to run the shelly. That is the same L which was connected into the switch. N is sometimes not available where the switch is.

Then you put Shelly 2.5 into Roller Shutter mode, select what kind of switch you have. If you messed up the wiring by wiring the up/down wires or the switch the wrong way, you can reverse that in software.

I also use Shelly 1 for light switches or the door buzzer. The fun is that Shelly does the actual switching while the old switch only tells it what to do. You can always override that in software.

Looks like a fantastic product. There is a custom firmware available for it with direct homekit support (no homebridge) called ravencore. I have ordered a few bits to test...

Let us know how it goes. I tend to keep things mainstream, so I have not considered using a different firmware.
