Signal now with iPad support
by Volker Weber
Signal now runs on iPad the same way it runs on Mac or PC, as a remote for the phone. Just update on your phone and install on iPad. When you launch it on iPad, it will guide you through the setup process.
I now have all four rtc apps that I use both on iPhone and iPad: iMessage, Facetime, Signal, Telegram.

Very good!
But what I am desperately waiting for is any kind of backup functionality (it‘s there in Android). Yesterday I set up my wife‘s new iPhone - and with that she lost all her current chats. What a pitty!
Don't worry, the chats will be back as soon as somebody posts. Backups undermine security.
Good news!

But only the tab with the chat is reappearing, right? The whole conversation from the past is still missing. Or am I wrong?
No, you are right. New keys. You would not be able to decrypt old messages.
Why do you have a badge on the OneNote icon?
Because I have 11 unread notes in a shared notebook. I always try to have people collaborate so that they benefit from each-other's work.
