When the cable of an old MacBook breaks, you cannot replace it easily, without opening the power supply. Abdelkader replaced two cables for me. Thank you!
You can get these cables from Amazon as either MagSafe 1 or MagSafe 2.
Now I am using a 2013 Retina MacBook Pro and it feels very quaint after working with Windows 10 for the last three years.

Und für die ungeschickten wie mich gibt es Sugru von Tesa. Eine Masse wie Knetgummi, die nach dem „Aushärten“ sehr flexibel ist.
