What do you want to be?

I can witness this. Every. Single. Day.

Thanks for sharing, Volker.
Excellent video, thank you vowe!
Sehr inspirierend. Danke Volker
@Peter: these issues can exist alongside each other. It's not an "either / or" situation, general office politics don't trump the very real problem of gender bias.
Thanks, Ben, it's good that there are still voices haven't lost the ability to differentiate. We succeed in addressing the real problem of gender and anti-diversity bias only if we at the same time prevent it from becoming another driver of the usual office toxicity.
We have a choice of seeing D&I as a zero sum game or something that improves lives and society for everybody. I think we should go for the latter. And disparaging people for engaging in discussions on a topic just because of their identity is not consistent with that.
The video may be a caricature to illustrate this one single point of view for clarity.
But as so often with issues of equality the solution would then lift up a much wider group of people. Establishing mechanisms that make sure that all voices are heard would also help males, that are not as outspoken.
Yup. I have not heard a single female voice who says this video is wrong. Not one.
@Volker: Mic drop!!!
Thanks for sharing. Will be sharing this video.
Try counting the number of female artists/bands compared to male artists/bands on a music festival poster/flyer....
@Armin why head over to music festivals, one could start right here.
@Martin that's true as well, but I don't know why that is. The reason I brought up music festivals is that I have some insight there and know several excellent female musicians who are trying to change this and achieve more balanced line ups.
Can't say the video is wrong, but it hasn't happened to me, nor has one of my female friends told me about such situations.
