I reported on the Voice Isolation feature several times. It works with Facetime and many other apps, and it must be enabled for each app. For reasons unbeknownst to me, it did not work for the phone app. This changes in the imminent 16.4 release where it works in the phone app as well.
Da musste ich an dich denken, als ich das gestern bei Macrumors gelesen hab. Ein Feature auf das ich sehr gewartet hab und das die Airpods noch einmal deutlich aufwertet. Bin gespannt, wie gut es dann tatsächlich ist. Aktuell bekomme ich immer Schimpfe von meinen Gesprächspartnern, wenn ich draußen mit den Airpods Pro 2 telefoniere, dass die Umgebungsgeräusche viel zu laut seien.
Interestingly, it doesn’t work if you take an incoming call on an iPad. The setting “Mic Mode” is available in the UI, the list shows the Voise Isolation and Wide Spectrum options, but at least I could not select anything else than Standard.
