Empty spaces are important. On your calendar, in your house, in your mind. Look at a well-designed newspaper or magazine. There are ample margins, and they provide order without needing borders.
If you find an empty space, leave it empty. People who are busy busy busy, have completely forgotten how relaxing boredom is.
If you don’t find empty spaces, then create them. Throw stuff out. Out of your schedule, out of your house, and out of your mind.
