Jabra Elite 10 #stuffthatworks

Die Farbe habe ich mir nicht ausgesucht. Es gibt bessere. 😇

Ich habe immer einen KopfhĂśrer “am Mann”. Das war lange Zeit der Apple AirPods Pro 2, aber seit zwei Monaten ist es der Elite 10 von Jabra. Große ovale Eargels, die nicht so tief im Ohr sitzen, dahinter ein mächtiger Treiber fĂźr ordentlichen Bass, dabei ein voller transparenter Sound. Da bleibt bei mir kein Wunsch offen. Den Ausschlag hat Bluetooth Multipoint gegeben, das dafĂźr sorgt, dass sowohl das iPhone als auch das ThinkPad gleichzeitig verbunden sind.

Heute gibt es ein dickes Update und im März soll ein weiteres folgen, das die Sprachaufzeichnung verbessert. Aber jetzt erst mal die umfassenden Änderungen dieses Updates:

• New feature: option to synchronize Dolby settings between two host devices connected to Jabra Elite 8 Active or Jabra Elite 10*
• Updated: Adaptative ANC and Wind noise reduction performance to address certain corner case scenarios.
• Updated: to new voice and tone prompts.
• Updated: reduced the time it takes for the earbuds to enter pairing mode after pressing the pairing button combination.
• Fixed: a bug that impacted Jabra Sound+ Equalizer setting at 1Khz and 4 Khz.
• Fixed: unstable Bluetooth connection to certain Xiaomi phones.

CES 2024: The most interesting Lenovo laptop

Lenovo makes three types of laptops: classic clamshells, 2-in-1s that fold over, and each year a really whacky one. Because they can. It’s not a concept. You will be able to buy one.

The ThinkBook Plus G5 Hybrid is a classic Windows clamshell which has a detachable screen that runs on Android. Plus some software to run Android apps right on the Windows desktop, when it is attached. When you detach the screen, you can connect the base to a separate monitor and now you have both a PC and a tablet.

I have no idea how this feels, but I am going to give it a spin when I get the chance. Lots of other announcements which you have to expect from the world’s largest PC maker, but this one stands out.

Microsoft USB-C Dock im Ausverkauf

Dieser Preis ist vom 7.1. abends. Mit schwindenden Beständen steigen aktuell die Preise.

Microsoft trennt sich von ZubehÜrgeschäft und da kann man noch das eine oder andere Schnäppchen machen. Zum Beispiel das als Audio-Dock nur unvollständig beschriebene Gerät.

Laptop per USB-C verbinden und er wird vom Dock mit Strom versorgt. Drei USB-Ausgänge (2x USB-C, 1x USB-A), einmal HDMI. Da gehen zwei 4k-Monitore (1x HDMI 2.0, 1x USC-C Alt Mode), eine Webcam und ein Dongle fßr Tastatur und Maus dran. Eingebaut sind Lautsprecher und Mikros, dazu Lautstärkeregelung, Start/Stop, Mute und Teams-Taste.

Ich war beschäftigt

Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 und Novation Launchkey

Ich habe mich die letzten Tage vor allem mit Musik beschäftigt, unterstßtzt von Ableton Live und Novation Launchkey. (Alternative: AKAI MPK Mini) (#reklame) Das ist mßhselig, aber dennoch befriedigend, wenn man stets etwas Neues lernen will.

Davor haben mit mehrere Headsets und eine Brille beschäftigt, ßber die ich noch nichts schreiben durfte. Dabei habe ich gelernt, dass 3D-Brillen fßr mich eine besondere Herausforderung darstellen, da ich fßr unterschiedliche Entfernungen auch unterschiedliche Sehkorrekturen benÜtige. Was hilfreich wäre: Ein Fokussierung, wie man sie von Ferngläsern kennt.

In den nächsten Tagen wird es eine Flut von Informationen von der CES geben. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass nur ein Bruchteil der dort vorgestellten Produkte jemals erfolgreich auf den Markt kommen. Sobald das tatsächlich passiert, werde ich mich damit beschäftigen. Eins weiß ich ganz sicher: Lenovo wird wie jedes Jahr einen völlig neuartigen Laptop präsentieren. Das finde ich wie immer superspannend.

Und nein, ich kenne die iPad-Roadmap nicht. 😇

Restart your chain #dontbreakthechain

If you broke your chain, just start a new one. I have 144 days to go until I hit my next move goal and I only need to close all rings for seven days in a row to get the award for the New Year challenge. That should be an easy one.

It’s raining cats and dogs, but I will take another walk tonight. I need 19 minutes of exercise and 183 kcal to close my rings, and I will achive that, no excuses.

Sometimes I don’t make it, because I did not pay attentions. Just last week I was missing 3 kcal, but I don’t fret it, because often I am many hundreds above my move goal.
